Arun Bharat Ram conferred with Jamsetji Tata Award

Bangalore: Arun Bharat Ram, Chairman SRF Limited, has been conferred with the prestigious Jamsetji Tata Award from the Indian Society for Quality (ISQ) for the year 2006. The Jamsetji Tata Award is given every year by ISQ in recognition of industry leaders who have made significant contribution to the Indian society through their work of leading an organization with an exceptional focus on holistic quality of management with humility, constancy of purpose, determination and setting an exceptional example to achieve outstanding results.
The award comes in recognition of Rams Lifetime achievement in successfully managing business through holistic quality and contributing to creation of quality culture in the society.
Accepting the award, Ram said, I regard it a great honor to be bestowed the Jamsetji Tata Award for the contribution I may have made in promoting quality in our company and in the country. The Award is for what has been close to my heart for many years and has influenced my actions in many ways quality.

Ram now joins two other industry doyens - Venu Srinivasan, CMD, TVS Motors and Dr J.J. Irani, Director, Tata Sons to have been conferred the Jamsetji Tata Award.
