Skillprofiler launches new skill inventory tool

BANGALORE: SkillProfiler Analytics, a provider of differentiated corporate talent management services today launched a new skill inventory tool that would enable corporates to map resident skillsets, maintain an inventory of all skills available and objectively analyze the skill growth. The new suite of tests would also help organizations identify the exact skill gap among employees and train them accordingly leading to better productivity and reduced training costs.
Commenting on the new suite of tests, Karthik K S, Co-founder & Managing Director, SkillProfiler Analytics, said, Globally corporates are realizing that the only way to effectively and comprehensively address spiraling recruitment/training costs is to increase depth of assessments, do more accurate job fits and have a proper skill map of the organization. The new suit of tests would lead to significant increase in the effectiveness of the hiring process and in the long run to the management of resident human capital.
Adopting a performance based Multi-Level Adaptive assessment methodology that effectively estimates candidate skill level; the new suite has more than 210 tests in IT and provides a Comprehensive Technical Proficiency Profile including a number of scaled scores and percentile scores in that particular technology area that are benchmarked globally. Apart from evaluating IT skills, the new tool also evaluates candidates on behavioral skills.
