Bangalore: Ever since the twitter revolution took its roll, different controversies have mounted out of various tweets. This shows how twitter provides an insight into what the world is talking about, for some they are serious business even though it only reflects the obsessions of the society and have been known to be manipulated in support of a filthy joke. Here are list of 10 people who had to face the heat due to their infamous tweets. 1. Connor Riley

In 2009, Connor Riley, 22, working on a master's degree in information management and systems at University of California, Berkeley was offered a job offer from Cisco, when she tweeted: "Cisco just offered me a job! Now I have to weigh the utility of a fatty paycheck against the daily commute to San Jose and hating the work." And shortly after that, Cisco employee Tim Levad replied: "Who is the hiring manager? I'm sure they would love to know that you will hate the work. We here at Cisco are versed in the Web." Connor Riley was reckless in preventing her from mismanaging her own information on Twitter. She was even least bothered to keep her privacy box in check which could have made the message exclusive to her friends instead of her worldwide tweet accolades.
