National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is India’s biggest public energy service provider and is head-quartered in New Delhi. Forbes Global 2000 ranked it at 348. NTPC is basically into engineering, construction and function of power generating plants. It also provides power consultancies to India.
Arup Roy Choudhury is the M.D. and Chairman of NTPC. It has an annual turnover of
60,008.18 crore (
600.08 billion). Its Profit After Tax is
9,353.40 crore (
93.53 billion). Its total assets are worth
1,19,683.40 crore (
1.19 trillion). It is currently being traded at
179.10 in the stock market.
