Mustang is one of most popular names of Ford. Since the debut in 1964 at New York’s World Fair, it has been roaring on the streets. Well, Ford is about to set the fireworks once again with the launch of the Ford Mustang in early 2014; this will also mark the glorious fifty years of Mustang. Over these fifty years, the price of the Mustang has risen by more than ten times.
The new Mustang will be lighter as well as smaller than the original Mustang. However the muscular looks of the Mustang series has been maintained and the technologies used in this two seater model will the most developed one.
Equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine, this version of Mustang will deliver 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The Ti-VCT, aluminium engine block and cold air induction technique will improve the performance of the engine. This engine will offer a compression ratio of 11:1 and its cylinder heads will has been designed in a way to optimize the airflow.
