6. Abalone

Abalone is a kind of edible sea snail that is served as a delicacy in countries like Australia, New Zealand, Chile, France and other Asian countries. The sea food was once abundantly found in South Africa and in 1995, the country harvested about 615 tons. The number drastically dropped to about 75 tons by 2008 and reason was illegal harvesting of Abalone. As a preventive measure, authorities now fine merchants with more than $40,000 if caught in illegal harvesting.

7. Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the most dangerous black market of all since it is very difficult to track down the culprits or organizations involved in it. The market is however booming and generates about $32 billion. The purpose behind human trafficking could be either to fulfill physical needs, the most obvious of all, or for illegal adoption. The other most obvious reason is slave labor.
