Sushma Swaraj: The chief of opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj is the six term Member of Parliament and three times MLA. She has also been the former Union Cabinet Minister and the former Chief Minister of Delhi in 1998 for a short span of two month. Despite the ups and downs in her career, she still goes strong . Swaraj also enjoys the distinction of the first-ever woman spokesperson of a national party, and in October 1998, she became Delhi's first woman chief minister.

A lawyer by profession, Sushma Swaraj began her practice as an advocate before the Indian Supreme Court in 1973. She joined politics as a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1977. Since then she has held several positions in the central government.

Vasundara Raje Scindia: The royal heiress, Vasundara Raje Scindia is the first women to become the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. It was in the year 1984 when she entered mainstream politics and joined the national working committee of BJP. She was the vice president of State BJP Yuva Morcha for two years (1984-86). During her tenure as a Chief Minister of Rajasthan in 2003, she was known for her tough ways of running the office.
