You are the Lucky Applicant in the DDA 2014 Draw? Then What Next?

Bangalore: If you are the lucky applicant who got a DDA flat in the Delhi Development Authority 2014 draw which was conducted on Nov 25th, make sure that you have updated the required information.

Postponement of DDA housing Draw results kept applicants in a confused mode and happy mode in the mean time. On the other hand happy for becoming a home owner and confused for not knowing the next procedure to be followed.

The Allotment Procedure:

  • If you have realized that you are a lucky winner, after checking out the results on the DDA official website by using application number, then you will get an allotment letter to your enlisted address specified in the application form in the next 15 days via speed post.
  • After getting the allotment letter, carry the letter along with the original papers to the Delhi Development Authority Office for verification of documents.
  • When the documents are verified by the DDA authorities, a Demand Letter will be issued to the aspirant.
  • After receiving the Demand letter the applicant ought to pay the whole amount on flat within 90 days of the issue.
  • Suppose, the applicant fails to pay the sum additional 9 months will be given to the payment. In that case the aspirant will be charged interest at the rate of 12 percent per annum as on 31st December.
  • If the applicant fails to pay the sum within 365 days of the issue of the Demand Letter, then the registration charges will be repaid without any interest and the approved flat will be cancelled.

Payment methods

  • The applicants need to pay the entire amount by NEFT/RTGS/online mode.
  • To pay through NEFT/RTGS/online mode the allottee can choose the bank and generate the e-challan form by filling the full details like allottee details, address, under which scheme you applied for followed by the zone, type and mode of payment by visiting the DDA website.
  • Once you generated the e-challan form, make the payment and take a print out and check the status as well.
  • It is obligatory for each allottee to pay the flat amount from his/her bank account.
  • At the time of occupancy, a copy of the bank statement and passport has to be presented.
  • Post submitting letter, copy of demand cum allotment letter and all the related archives will be sent to the concerned commissioner of the Income Tax Department.
