Bangalore : After delays of more than 20 days, Delhi Development Authority will hold the lucky draw for its Housing Scheme 2014 on Tuesday, it means today from 11.30 in the morning. “We will begin the randomization of date at 9 Am and the entire process of the draw is expected to take about 2 hours”, one of the DDA’s official Nemo Dhar said.

The fate of 10,08,700 DDA housing scheme applicants will be declared today. The Delhi Development Authority with its Housing Scheme 2014 offers more than 25,000 flats of various categories which are ranging around Rs 7 Lakh to Rs 1.2 crore. For the first time, Delhi Development Authority made set up to webcast the entire draw live on its dedicated website www.ddadrawlive.in and on YouTube.
In DDA flats there are various categories like MIG, EWS, LIG, HIG and 1 BHK apartments. In this one bedroom apartment covered major part.

The owners of the DDA flats will be decided by 1.00 pm. Some of the reporters quoted that the delay was due to a software glitch. DDA has many software engineers for working on code and rewriting the program.Firstly, the draw was scheduled to be held on Nov 5 at Vikas Sadan, agency’s headquarters, but the draw of lots has been delayed a number of times since then as the agency has been having difficulties in dealing with Lakhs of application forms. DDA has received nearly 10,08,700 applications for its housing scheme.Centre for Development of Advanced Computing-(C-DAC), which had performed the DDA’s draw 2010 has been tied to this event.
