In the annual survey by real estate consultants CBRE Global, few cities in India are continued to dominate the world’s most expensive office spaces. New Delhi (Connaught Place – CBD):

Located in the central Delhi, the Connaught Place ranked as the 8th costliest office site in the world and most expensive city of Office space in India. Last year Delhi stood at 4th position, it fell four notches to settle as eighth most expensive location, as rentals remained stable and rupee weakened in 2013. Delhi is a major hub of telecom, power, construction, health and real estate business. Connaught place remains highly sought after the corporate office occupiers because of its central location, proximity to government organizations, trading centers, retail areas and connectivity to prime areas of the city. From January to March, rentals remained high due to limited supply of prime space and vacancy rates slumped marginally amid strong leasing activities. The Occupancy cost of the city rose 1.2 percent year-on- year.
