The Runwal Group had to pay a heavy price of rs350 crore to get the ownership of the Nepean Sea bungalow property in 2011. The two storied mansion has  28,000 sq ft in carpet area and was constructed in 1918,owned by Kapadia family. Runwal Group had to do settlements with the joint owners of the Kapila family to purchase the mansion which is seated in over half acre. In addition to its facilities Nepean Grange also has an outhouse, servants' quarters and a garage.

Maheshwari House

The steel baron, Sajjan Jindal of Jindal Steel currently owns one of the most costly properties. Priced at rs400 crore the industrialist had to shell out rs 92,000 per square foot to make the three storied bungalow his own back in 2012. Maheshwari House is spread across over an acre and gives away a great sea front view. The property in the Napean Sea Road of Mumbai is thought to undergo redevelopment with all the modern aminities including a luxury residential tower.
