Growth Potential of Noida: Myth vs. Reality

BANGALORE: Noida has slowly but surely emerged as the new investment destination, banking on its plethora of investment options and consumer interests developed, owing to the outstanding infrastructural feats and immaculate planning undertaken by the authorities in developing the city. Noida has everything a resident could ask for in a city, such as excellent educational facilities, imposing infrastructure, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues in vast number, road & metro connectivity and affordable living options. All these make Noida a hot favorite hub for real estate development.

However, this is about as far from reality as it can be. With road and metro connectivity, even the once remote areas are now well within the reach and transportation, public as well as private, is a breeze. Another notion that the potential investors’ house is that Noida is not as well planned as it may appear. This is, once again, a parable. The reality is, Noida and adjoining areas like Greater Noida and Expressway are the best-planned regions one would come across in India, which is perfectly evident from their well chalked out residential and commercial aggregation of complexes. Third very common belief is that Noida is on the verge of being saturated and therefore the prices are skyrocketing. True, the prices are high, but they are still much more affordable than other parts of the NCR, like Gurgaon for instance, and are entirely justified with the facilities, infrastructure and fast-paced growth visible in the region.

In all, there are many myths surrounding the development of Noida that the investors need to research first hand before investing. Once the initial exploration is done, Noida would appear to be one of the best bets around for a safe and profitable investment.
