Parting thoughts
I feel proud of introducing myself Pankaj Kumar Samantaray. I had completed my Diploma in Electrical Engg. in the year of 2008 with an experience of 3 years + in Power Transmission, Distribution and O&M of Grid Sub-station. Now I am looking for an emerging and challenging career in General Electrical / Electrical Switching/ Metering/ EM & R, T&D sector where I will develop my tremendous and inspire technological skills and experiences.
The Journey So Far
• M/S PANDA CONSTRUCTION:
I worked in M/S PANDA CONSTRUCTION Ltd. From the 8thJul.2008 to 31st Dec.2010 as Jr. Engineer. During that period in my supervision 10 nos of grid s/s and 6 nos of 132 KV line constructed. I was worked as bellow functions.
• Construction and Commissioning of Transformer Project.
• Operation of 132/33KV Grid Sub-station control room.
• Installation, Operation, Maintenance & Testing of Current Transformers & Potential Transformers (CT & PT).
• Operation, Maintenance & Testing of battery bank.
• Installation & Commissioning of Isolators, Lighting Arrester.
• Operation, Maintenance & Testing of Transformers (Power, Auto, ICT).
• Patrolling of 220/132/33 KV tower lines & testing of various parameters.
• Operation &Maintenance of Circuit Brakers (Air blast & SF6).
• Operation of relays (Numerical & Distance).
• Installation, Operation, Maintenance & Test of Insulators.
• Erecting of towers.
• Installation, Operation, Maintenance & Testing of Insulating Oil.
• Operation & Maintenance of metering units.
• Cable coding and dragging and analysis (Power and control cable).
• Checking of Hotspots in Switchyard.
• Calculation of energy loss, efficiency and making of all essentials monthly reports.
