About Manish Kumar Sharma
About me:
I am a simple, friendly and have high aspiration towards my life. I work consistently in the desired and focused direction. Currently I am associated with the “Teach India” campaign initiated by The Times of India. I have also been associated with the social cell committee of K.J.Somaiya management institutes and working voluntarily for the social cause.
Academics:
I have completed my primary education from St.pauls school, hajipur and B.D.Public School, Patna. After that, I joined Delhi Public School, Ranchi, Jharkhand for my 10+2 course. I qualified for the Regional Mathematics Olympiad in year 2000 and 2001 under the Jharkhand state level with state Rank-6 and 16 respectively. After completing 12th from DPS I joined National Institute of Technology, Warangal in Mechanical Engineering stream for pursuing my B.Tech course.
I have done one month summer training at Reliance Energy, Mumbai after the completion of 2nd year B.Tech course and again after 3rd year I did 2 months summer project at IIT kharagpur.
After completion of my B.Tech course I joined Accenture, Hyderabad as Associate Software Engineer. After working for 13 months I appeared for CAT and qualified with 94 %ile. I joined K.J.Somaiya Institute Of Management Studies And Research, Mumbai on 15 June, 2008. Currently I in the 3rd Trimester of 1st year MBA course, PDM-International Business.
Though I got selected for the ONGC and Accenture both through the campus placement at NIT Warangal but finally I joined Accenture, since I was focused to go for MBA the very next year.
Finally I joined Accenture on 4 June, 2007. I worked in Accenture for 13 months on different projects like WellPoint and Microsoft engagement project basically on Java-Struts and SQL server. I did a health care certification programme at Accenture. I worked from the Microsoft office as a vendor as a member of the Avanade team of Accenture. I received “Rising Star Award” for my performance at Accenture.
