Thoughts on Education system of our country

Education in India is just about passing on information. We do not appreciate creative thinking. There is no focus on questioning the ideas already put forth so as to think out of the box. In short creativity is not given and value and hence we are stuck with the age old wisdom. The government should provide more funds to push the quality of education and ensure accountability for the results generated.
