The Journey So Far:

This has been a small journey only. This is my first job and is doing for 2 years.
I have got placed in off campus selection after completing my B.Tech.

Working Life Management:

When i started my career, there was no consideration for life. I worked like anything. Lately I felt, I missed many things. So now I do the work only in office times and enjoy rest of time.

Done Differently:

I would have worked more hard to get in to some Core companies.

The Decisions That Matter

I was joined as a contract employee in my firm for 1 yr. After completion of 1 yr they offered me permanent position with less salary. They decided to rate the freshers based on their college and my college was not the best. As there was no other option, i decided to continue here.

Changes In The Professional Environment:

When I joined, the project was new. No one had a clear idea how to proceed. they followed their own method. Work was hard that time. But eventually we were able to stream line every thing and standardize the work. It made life easy.

Family Background

I came from a middle class family in Kerala. My father was a Govt. employee. But took VRS while I was doing schooling. My mother is homemaker. I have younger brother too.

Growth Strategy:

You can not keep up if u do not update your knowledge to the latest standards. Keeping in that in mind, I am always learning. To became a leader, you need to grab those opportunities coming in your way. I am garbing them too.

Career Profile:

I am currently a team member. Do the work what they allocate to me.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

I have grown to be a essential part of my group. Received appreciation from my manager.

Advice For New Professionals:

It is tough world out there. Be honest and give your 100 percent.

Plans For The Future:

In couple of Yrs I should have started my Masters degree. If not, I should be doing onsite.

Role Model:

My role model is my father. He is the one person I look for every time. A brave man who do what he feel right. and talks what he feels.

I am currently working for Infotech Enterprises Limited in Hyderabad. I am a Design Engineer working in CATIA software doing modelling and drafting. Currently engaged in Aerospace domain.
