Many accomplishments; made 1956 made Polish make tower cane work at 150% efficiency, designed/ developed many SPMs, made many semiconductor equipments work at 180% efficiency and above all developed a strong subordinate where ever I have worked. Thet all still remember me with respect
Professional Strengths:
Electrical, Electronics & Mechanical engineering skills. I am a quick learner. I worked for SPM company, Civil company, FMCG manufacturing company, diode plant, wafer fab, Glass furnace, bulb manufacturing, Instrumentation and Lead Acid Battery manufacturing.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Most ended up with Cast, religion, regional, etc vested interests.
The Decisions That Matter
Best performance too kills. 1990 I have left Gillette a MNC company to join a small company for better designation. 1996 My best performance brought me an undesired transfer to a worst division that again forced me change job. Had to leave job 2011 as I developed strong next level team.
Growth Strategy:
Now I am looking to en-cash my technical developments, my vast experience and technical skills.
Role Model:
Mr.Kapil Mohan Mehtha - Managing Director, Naina Semiconductors Ltd., He wanted set up a small company and successfully set up much bigger company than he dreamed about. If I were there in his place, I would have run the company much better than him; I always feel.
Degrees That Matter:
I have successfully added few certificates studying part time. An Engineering degree would have been very useful. Though who are holding masters degrees were reporting and learned a lot from me, a degree to self would have been very useful.
Career Profile:
from the year 1975 to 2011 I worked as Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical & Facilities maintenance head, and I always enjoyed my job achieving above world level KPIs. Present job is entirely different to my entire past experience. Not very challenging. This something about sales.
Advice For New Professionals:
There is lot of difference what is taught in collages and work force requirement. I normally used to teach them basics once again relating to practical purpose of engineering. Throughout my career, I always used to conduct training classes, encourage them pursue higher technical & management skills.
Plans For The Future:
may be again I join some organization as maintenance head; if I fail to en-cash my skills.
The Journey So Far:
Started career as a "Wire-man Trainee" in Nov 1975; became supervisor in 1976; Section head in 1979; Maintenance head there after; like - Dy. Manager-Maintenance, Manager-Maintenance, Sr.Manager-Maintenance, DGM - Maintenance.
Involvement in the Industry

Job Profile:
India Sales and service head. I have to get new customers and provide service support to existing customers. Our customer base is very limited as we manufacture and supply "Battery Manufacturing Equipment"
Working Life Management:
I always enjoyed my daily work/ profession. I always give 8 to 9 hours to my work and rest to my family and to myself. I never had any work related problems. Few times I had work quite long hours (even for 4 days non-stop) and I enjoyed achieving results. My team too enjoyed working for me.
Done Differently:
Added my qualification at very early age. I have for many years spend more than 50% of my salary towards educating self with degrees, but some how could manage few certificate and earning a degree remained a dream.
