Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
I have a sister, a brother and parents.
Career Profile:
Responsible for communication and coordinating upon mainframe software development or production support with offshore engineers.
Job Profile:
Have been working as a Bridge SE at Indian IT companies in Japan.
Role Model:
Offshore engineers in previous company in India. They were working so hard, though our schedule was so tight and critical. Indian offshore engineers looked like comparatively young and they didn't know mainframe skills less than Japanese engineers. However, they could manage to master COBOL easily.
Growth Strategy:
Challenging new role even if I've never experienced the same before. Continue to study project management methods, foreign languages(ex. English) and cutting-edge technologies more harder.
Degrees That Matter:
I think there is nothing in particular basically. Up to the various kinds of IT roles. However, we should do our best to get BE or BIT degree before joining new company if possible.
Done Differently:
Importance of studying my strong skills in detail by using published books, certified official manuals and internet community sites. If I had to start the same career again, I would do all the above.
Working Life Management:
I think my work life balance is very difficult challenge. In Japan, engineers tend to do overtime work both by midnight and on holidays. I spend my private time by doing my hobbies, meeting my friends, going to shopping or restaurant. I'd like to try any other sports, dances or walking.

The Decisions That Matter
Whether I'll continue mainframe's system integration only or not. Whether I'll continue working in Japan only or not.
Whether I'll try management roles or not.
