The Decisions That Matter
My first job was in software field, where the work was related to testing. I completed my Engineering in Electronics and Communication field. Though Software/IT sector is a very much interesting field but i didn't feel to be fit in. So, i choose to work with ECI Telecom and my best decision in life.
Working Life Management:
It totally depends on your mental and fitness level. I am a Gym lover and also do Yoga on daily basis. I feel so comfortable while balancing my work and professional life with healthy mind and body. I prefer to stay with my family on weekends.
Degrees That Matter:
I am having a Diploma and a B.E degree in Electronics. The reason i felt to go for B.E, was to widened my scope and to get prepared to face the industry with a broader view. Also, i am planning to have a Masters,to move further and helping myself to have a more deeper sight of how decisions made of.
Job Profile:
I am currently in Pre-Sales and support my sales team in different regions. As a solution engineer, My work is to prepare answers to the Tenders, Making Bill of Quantity, Technical Descriptions and Planning of Optical (SDH+OTN+DWDM) networks for some elite service provider in the world.
Family Background
My Father is a Junior Engineer, working in Central Govt. (C.S.I.R). My sister (currently married) is a M.B.A and working with Genpact for last five years. My mother is a housewife and taking care of us with her Emotional and FOOD Material support.
Advice For New Professionals:
Be open towards all the Entry points and don't hesitate on taking risk to enjoy what you want to do. Never feel burdened or depressed with workload and give enough time to you and your family.

The Journey So Far:
My journey till now is like achieving each of the Mile-Stones, I wanted so far. From the very fresher to a responsible Sales person, i had and have some great co-workers and managers. I also had some difficult time but able to manage my journey through them with the help of my seniors and colleagues.
Done Differently:
I will certainly handle the false conditions in my new career and discuss about what i feel, openly to my manager. I, also, will certainly improve my efficiency.
Contribution to the field
I am currently working in Nokia siemens networks. My work profile is Pre-Sales Engineer. I provide support to my Regional manager on commercial and technical basis to answer the Tenders for Transmission(SDH+OTN+DWDM). I prepare B.O.Q, Technical Description and also do planning for customer's network
