Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

My father is retired from Office of the CAG of India. My house wife, Daughter (Studying in 11th) and son studying in 5th. All are residing in Ghaziabad(UP).

Points of inflection

The Inflection point was when I decided to apply for Voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) from a Central Govt PSU in 1998 and aimed towards software company in private sector. I took the decision to enhance my career within IT sector.

A Fine Balance:

Work from 9am to 6pm. Home from 6pm to 9am

Total 25 years. 1 year HCL Noida, 10 years CEL Sahibabad (PSU), 8 years Software sector, Rest 6 years heading various company's IT departments.

Heading IT at Topworth Group Mumbai.

Parting thoughts

With my prior experience in SAP, I Plan to switch career in SAP after getting certified.

I hope to be at a level of CIO/VP in IT.

Most Important Lessons

Always select the professional field which gives you happiness in performing. You can not grow in a boring profession. That is why I took VRS from a Government PSU.
