About Suresh Menon
I hold a B.Com degree and two post-graduate diplomas - in Business Management and in Journalism. I have worked with top newspapers like The Times of India, Business Standard, Gulf Today and with IT companies like Satyam Computer Services Ltd as senior business journalist and content editor. In 2001, I launched the Ahmedabad edition of Business Standard. I am now seeking suitable job opportunities.

Before joining Satyam, I used to edit, publish and own a magazine
on practical spirituality from Kerala. The name of this magazine
is CONSECRATION and you can know more about it and also read its
past issues by visiting our website www.lordsrikrishna.net. In
a bid to create a forum for transnational and successful Indians
and to connect them globally for the betterment of their lives,
we also designed and launched a web-portal along with a print
magazine called NEW GLOBAL INDIAN (NGI). And with a view to
facilitating the process of building bonds of solidarity between
India and the Diaspora, NGI has been providing news, information
and views on various challenges and relevant opportunities. It
has also been acting as a medium for networking.

involved chairing editorial meetings, planning the successive

correspondents based all over India, overseeing the work of all
my subordinates and ensuring the overall quality and
effectiveness of the entire business section. My duties there
also included ensuring that all the stories and inputs are
received well before the deadline and the best ones among them
are chosen, headlined, subbed and properly placed on each page.

section printed in time was also my responsibility.

I topped the All-India Merit List while doing my Post Graduate Degree in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, for which I was awarded the gold medal, silver medal, merit certificate and cash prizes for scoring first ranks and highest marks in various subjects.
