Marketing Head, e-Marketing

Mindfire CEO, Chinmoy, is my inspiration. I did not believe in first generation entrepreneurs until I got a chance to work with him closely in Mindfire. With him around, it feels that an entrepreneur just needs to be persistent and never give up. I get inspired all the time when I see him working.
Well :) I am here today because I did mistakes and learnt from them in the past. If I started again, I would open myself up to the world of opportunities sooner.
Contribution to the field
Its still a long way for me to go. I do not have any ground breaking accomplishments. I have been a committed and passionate person who loves his work and that is what I feel is needed most when you are speaking about your brand.
Marketing Sherpa, Rashmi Bansal's books, Jeff Bullas blogs are ones everyone should read. Also read the Entrepreneur magazine. Its fab!
Degrees That Matter:
Advice For New Professionals:
Be Open. Dont accept things just because they seem like what they are. Read and read more. And as we say at Mindfire, Burn ignorance with Knowledge!
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Oh there has been a metamorphic change. When I started, I never could justify why I should search for something - I thought I should know everything. Slowly as Search got mightier, I realized how vain my thinking was to encompass all knowledge alone!
The Journey So Far:
Exciting and Challenging at times but Fun all the while.
I oversee the e-Marketing efforts at Mindfire which includes Mindfire website maintenance and tuning for optimum results. And I spearhead online lead-generation activities at Mindfire.
Awarded by N R Narayanamurthy and S Ramadorai in the TCS Smart Manager Contest in 2008.
I watch my twitter feeds, stay updated and share things I like with my close network of people in various social channels.
My job profile involves creating Mindfire brand in global market and position it as a valued player in the IT Services space and to generate leads for the organization.
Stay happy. Stay Connected. After all we all are nodes of one Global Network. We have to keep talking to each other to keep the world alive and kicking! Adios!
Plans For The Future:
Working with more and more Content.. Marketing it all the more. Cutting the clutter in Content Marketing.
The Decisions That Matter
Moved out of my strong area in Project and Program management years back and ventured into Sales and Marketing. That is one of the most important career decisions I have taken and I am glad I did.
