Views about 'Tech product Introduction is weak among Indians'

We are lacking in focusing on R&D and for this various National/ Govt. undertaking is to be held responsible. Secondly, with Brainstorming to other countries as some individual may have not got that much of resource in India. Individuals are focussing on Professional Growth not for National Growth and gets involved in MNCs.
Govt. should plan for retaining & providing sufficient resources.

Making job easier

Involvement into Patna Sewerage Scheme under NGRBA and getting an opportunity to work for cleaning Ganga the holy river.

Goals and Ambitions

I want to be an Entrepreneur in Environmental Management Sector and would be into Water & Waste Water Network & Treatment; Solid Waste Management; Arsenic Removal from Groundwater. I would like to innovate further in R&D for Water Treatment so as to provide future a pure drinking water.

My advice

Since, I opted into Environmental Engineering (Design/ PHE) but has interest to be in Environment core (like treatment, & Research & Development).
I would like to advise each Environmentalist that if they have any interest in core sector than to stick to that only.

Challenges faced in job

Since, I was not having any exposure in Engineering Design in my college, it was bit challenging for me to get into it at first. But after sometime, I evolve into the same and got expertise this Design Sector.
This would further help me to get expertise in various other sub sectors too.

Company and job profile

I am an Environment Engineer (B.Tech) currently working with Meinhardt India Pvt. Ltd. as Jr. Design Engineer-PHE and engaged on various Water & Waste Water Distribution Network (Municipal/ City & Townships) such as Patna, Bilaspur, Indore, Emami Township, IndiaBulls at Gudgaon etc.

Have working experience with Consulting Engineering Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. as Assistant Engineer-EEUI on Punjab Rural Water Supply & Sanitation funded by World Bank.

Have an exposure of Lab Research on "Arsenic Removal From Groundwater - A Low Cost Filter Media" and the thesis on same have been published in Various National & International Conference and Seminars. Same is in process of Patent and hope would get into it.

My Father is working as Branch Manager at RJ Trade Wings (Noida), My mother is a housewife. My elder brother is into Merchant Navy as 2nd Officer and younger brother is an Electronics & Communication Engineering & currently working with NIIT, Gudgaon as a Technical Developer.
