Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

There are three members in my family. My father Anand Prakash Gupta retired from PNB, Delhi. My wife, Shiveta Gupta, she is working as a Sr. Recruiter in Grapecity India Pvt. Ltd., Noida. She has over 6 years of experience in HR and my kid Dhanesh Gupta 5 years old and studying in Shiv Nadar School.

My discussions and learnings from my seniors and subordinates. Also, the way relationships could be balanced and maintained with the seniors.

The Journey So Far

I have started my career with a smal company name Magnum Sol. delhi and then moved on to a bigger challenge in Nucleus Software Exports Ltd. I have learned and experienced a lot in Nucleus from where I moved on to Birlasoft and then to Religare. Currently I am posted as Operations Manager in G-Cube.

Areas for the Future

Self Improvemnet on matrix knowledge and finding new ways to test integral and unique part of software would ultimate create demand for the future.

Be fair to your seniors and your professional environment. It does not matter how the person on the other side think of you. Ultimately you would emrge as a leader, in case you are fair with your profession.

Currently my profile is more client intrinsic and restricted to policies of the company. In my previous company, I was more into managerial role and handling of multiple teams.

Plans for the Future

I would like to see myself as a Program Manager in next two years down the line.

He should have the knowledge of testing practices and should not hesitate to work as a manual tester.

Changes in the industry

Earlier developer only has the responsibility to test his code and was unable to think in different directions. This has significantly improved over a period of time with specialization in field area.
