Job Purpose: Implement the strategy for the retail business development and expansion for the Supermarket format in the cluster. Implement the developed strategy, roll out stores and manage the top line and bottom line of the retail business for the specified format. Supervise other key operations like Merchandising, Marketing, Retail operations and supply to the stores. Job Context & Major Challenges: Develop the overall retail business for Supermarkets in the cluster Principal Accountabilities: Implementing Business Plans& Strategies: Contribute in developing business plan and strategy formulation for the business segment, to achieve targeted growth and establish the SUBHIKSHA retail brand. Strategy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of retail strategy including roll out etc, in order to achieve the targeted growth. Merchandising & Marketing: Supervises the merchandising, retail and marketing functions/teams to achieve the targeted sales and profitability of the respective business division Team recruitment & Development: Develop a team of top level professionals to manage the various activities of the business Business expansion: Provide leadership in developing new market/customer base
