There
are many factors involved in developing a website. Hosting, Design,
functionality etc. DIPL is accountable for this & can also explain these to
its clients. Proper up gradation of latest technologies & knowledge is
important.I often suggest to people that having a website is not so risky. NOT
having a website is more risky. It puts you and your business at a
disadvantage.
I
remember myself going through a financial crunch and desired work badly.
Without thinking much about the technical feasibility of the project I agreed
to do it for a client. The result was that I had to work continuously for about
72 hours to get a solution. I slept only after providing the solution. But it
also made me learn what to commit and what not to commit!
Nothing! I would like to grow again the way
I grew. Committing mistakes is normal.
My first customer was a renowned film
personality of India. I use to teach him computer. Once while teaching him we
came up with idea of launching a personal website for him. The only challenge
that I faced was when I was supposed to collect my payment. It was my first
professional payment and it was raining cats and dogs in Mumbai that day. I had
to literally swim through knee deep waters to collect my first payment. LOL.
Friendliness! I make them feel secured
financially as well as for the future. I believe a quiet mind can think wisely
and can do wonders.
I prefer nurturing my people. Majority of
the people I believe are talented. The only difficult part for any company is
to extract that talent and use it in a constructive manner so that it is
mutually beneficial.
If you want to make your dreams come true,
wake up!
Interesting! In 1998, I dropped my
marketing job, which I did for two years in the web designing field and took a
decision of opening this sole proprietorship firm. It was rather a
one-man-band. Right from marketing to technical to day to day work, I had to do
it all alone. Interestingly I met many like-minded enthusiasts (helpful souls)
who volunteered me in achieving my goals.Later when the firm got more organized and grew in terms of number of people, I
felt proper management was also of equal importance as the technical know-how.
Since then I am more into the administrative and business development aspect.
Have an aim, means will follow. I believe
in that. Do the right things, dots will get connected themselves.
