Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
I am from a middle class traditional family located in Dornakal, AP, India. I have done my BE in computer science with MBA in technology Management from Osmania University, AP, India. I have more than 11 years of Development and Testing experience and currently working with Cognizant USA.
A Fine Balance:
Simple strategy I follow is... Work is part of your Life. So, work smart to complete tasks on time. No work at home unless it is mandatory. Unless manage your time to balance work and life you will end up with spending 48 hours a day with office work... :)
Current and Previous Responsibilities
As an Onsite lead, I would be responsible on interacting with client to understand the requirements to come up with estimations and loading the resources to handle the project. Previously I used to work on testing activities more than resource management currently I am doing.
The Journey So Far
After BE, worked at NITS (2001) for a year, then worked with INFOTECH (3.5yrs). Pursued MBA(TM) from OU in 2006 and also worked with Kenexa (1 yr) then with Ivy comptech (6 mon). Then moved to USA in 2007 and worked for MCS Global (2 yrs), IcnentOne for 2 years & now with CTS USA for last 18 months
Role Model
Lakshman Guguloth IPS, one of the directors of BSE who is my elder brother. I inspired with his strategic growth plans but was not able to follow him always. But still I before planning any thing, I consider his words to succeed.
Changes in the industry
When I started career in 2001, QA had charm with less sources and now we have thousands of tools to deliver quality products to the client with less efforts. These days, QA lost its charm in the market as most of the non-tech sources entered into QA without minimal knowledge & Still QA is must.
Essential Advice
If you are interested in Automation or Performance tools then only enter into QA. Or Find out the suitable technology (Cloud computing, Agile Scrum, Mobile apps, Data warehouse) where you see good growth in QA. Or concentrate on Process to get good opportunities.
Areas for the Future
1. Certifications in Automation/Performacne tools
2. Advanced technology expertism ( Mobile, Cloud, Data warehouse etc..)
3. Domail knowledge (Retail, Banking, Insurance, Finance etc...)
4. Adapt new and effective process to deliver quality products to the client
Degrees that Matter
ISTQB always helped me to project I am a certified tester. Then Scrum Master Certification helped me to show I am into next level. Domain specific certifications like HIPAA in Insurance domain etc… CTSE/CSQE would help testers to get more opportunities which I didn't get chance to prepare for.
Most Important Decisions
1. Stick to your words and always have the written communication on every decision made during PLC. else you will be in trouble when some thing goes wrong
2. Work with the people who knows QA importance
3. Adopt new technologies and techniques to deliver quality products with less efforts.

Parting thoughts
Always QA job is challenging work where Development team, Management team doesn't have proper understanding on why QA is required. always they try to cut down the QA hours and wanted to do Parallel QA and UAT testing which is not at all good approach.
Currently working at
Currently I am working in Insurance domain. As a On site coordinator I interact with business users at client place to understand the project needs and based on that come up with estimation to load the resources and will closely monitor the resources to deliver the tasks on time without any issues
Plans for the Future
I would like to be in a head of quality where I can make my team to realize on Quality Importance to work towards delivering quality products to the client and wanted to set up most effective process which would let other teams to understand on quality need as well easy to every on to follow.
