Advice For New Professionals:
I FOUND YOUGSTERS ARE VERY ENTHUSIASTIC, OVERCONFIDENT BUT FORGET THE VALUE OF EXPERIANCED PERSONS, HUMAN VALUES, TEAM SPIRIT, SOCILISING HABIT, HARD WORK. IF ALONG WITH DEGREE THEY LEARN ALL THESE SMALL THINGS, THEY BECOME ASSET FOR THE ORGANISATION.
Job Profile:
I am working as Manager MIS and FMS Reporting to Senior VP Marketing I am actively involved in Planning Organising and controlling Fertiliser Monitoring Data Entries and
Movement of Fertiliser from Plant to field locations.
Required Reading:
They must see Indian Fertiliser.com for fertiliser updates
Changes In The Professional Environment:
A work culture of cement company was there when I Joined my organisation, becasue the Promotors are Civil Engineers and are in business of Infrastructure and Cement. Since Fertiliser Business is a Controlled Industry under ECA , I have changed the working system and culture of the organisation.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
I could make my colleques understanding the fertiliser business well.
Other Thoughts:
I have statred working in Private Organisations with a very low position simply an as an Accounts Clerk. I face lot of problems in my career path, castism/groupism/favouratism is at the peak in Private organisations and one can overcome these with firm determination and Honest working.
Professional Strengths:
A Professional strongly belive in Human Values, Indian Traditions
and try to be a Best Team Leader, always learn from juniors and seniors. Never enforce my ruling and ask suggesstions from everyone
sometime peoples take it as my weakness, but I still enjoy this type of Managment working.
Growth Strategy:
A Leader must be Master of his choosen field, so that he can guide his team. Take work from others is not a correct defination of leader in my openion, You must ready to do the task if need arises, then only one can be a leader in practical life.I am doing study for further strengthning my knowledge base.
Degrees That Matter:
MBA From a Premier University is suffice.
The Decisions That Matter
working in Private organisations since 1981 and make my career from very small job
this makes me a down to earth professional who believes in Indian culture and its management system where subordinate is work as companion and giving him learning gives
satisfaction, beliving in humanity and team work will produce results, not like professional management of british style. Decision of working with companies with human face gives me satisfaction of work.
Done Differently:
Give Maximum weightage on Human Resource, Man Power Reduction is not a good theory in my Openion.
Working Life Management:
Strictly follow office timings.
Career Profile:
My Present Profile is Managing various works whereas earlier I was involved in one typical job which make my job monotonous, but now I have emple opportunity for learning, daring to do something new.
The Journey So Far:
I have Joined Aditya Birla Group as Junior Accountant in 1989 and worked their till 2012 only one corporate organisation, but it gives me experiances of all type of work and I have seen and observe the changes in Managment system/thinking from Patriarchal to Professionalism.
