Job Responsibilities: Working for Microsoft Global Service Desk reporting to Team Manager from January 2008 till date. I handle inbound calls for supporting various products of Microsoft and their network assisting internal Microsoft Employees and Business Partners. OSIE – Operating System and Internet Explorer. We provide support right from installing an operating system from network resources to configure it and make it compatible with network security. We also handle issues on feature functionality, security and compatibility of resources with the operating system. LOB – Line of Business. Out of various applications developed by and for Business Partners of Microsoft we support almost two hundred applications. PCP – PC Products. Mainly issues related to hardware and configuration of Exchange over Air. We provide best effort for hardware issues for the internal employees and help them configure their computer. Windows Mobile configuration with Microsoft Exchange is supported where i also help the employees to install Office Mobile and configure their device over Wireless. I also troubleshoot connectivity issues wherein the client is unable to connect to the intranet/corpnet resources.
