To create a Business Unit (BFSI) that would act as a model
Business Unit for the Corporate to replicate the process for
other BUs (Healthcare, Telecom, Logistics, Enterprise Solutions,
IMS – Infrastructure Management Services, AMS – Application
Management Services) in future. To help align the Corporate
Management processes to operate in the BU environment. As the
Strategy and Operations Head, my role is both strategic
(definition of the vision, identification of the niche, the USPs,
and the corporate branding plan) and operational (creation of the
3 year macro operations plan, drilling down to monthly plans, and
putting in place the requisite management and resources for
execution). My major responsibilities include the
following • Create processes and prove their effectiveness by
deploying for the first BU (BFSI). • Set the Vision for the
BU. Create a Strategy to achieve the vision. Prepare business
plans (Operational, Marketing, Sales, Financial, and Resource
Plans) to execute the strategy. All these with a buy-in from
entrepreneurs and Corporate Management. • Device the metrics
and put in place the reporting & monitoring mechanism to ensure
success of the plans. • Ensure appropriate management
resourcing for the success of the various plans.
