Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
I belong to a resettled Bengali refugee family settled in Uttarakhand. studied in Nainital.My father late Pulin Biswas fought for civil and human rights of Refugees, minorities and peasants. I inherit the tradition of strugle. I am a working journalsit since 1979 and have been writing since 1973.

Job Profile:
I have worked as Chief subeditor in dailies like Amar Ujala and dianik Jagaran, the most circulated newspapers. I have been engaged to publish the edition since my first day in journalism.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
I never did compromise with professionalism ethics and values and do always stick to my stance. i am not opportunist and at the same time, I ma democrate enough for interactions.

I am associated with best known Indian brand in journalism reputed world wide. We function in corporate culture.

Other Thoughts:
I am concerned and committed to well being of India and Indians and engaged in campaign to save humanity to sustain the galaxy. I have been environment activist since student life and had been associated with chipko as I belong to Himalayas.
Contribution to the field
I am associated with Indian Express group of newspapers where I do enjoy freedom as a journalist to continue my work as journalist and writer. I am working in the company for two decades and never thought to leave it.

Would like to end as an Express journalsit.
Degrees That Matter:
It is better to have knowldge about information technology without which you may not continue.
Role Model:
Martin Luther King who changed the world with his crusade to end apartheid. I am also a fan of Ambedkarite Economics.
