1. Complete Ph.D. in 2013.
2. Post Doctroral Research 2014-2016/2017
3. Continue in teaching along with research
4. Write at least 2 books in Kannada to impart Science and Technology to common people of Karnataka.

My role model

My father is a role model. Because he was committed to his profession, time bound, well disciplined. I have not seen any other person like him dedicated so much to his profession. At the same time he had a big task of bringing his 7 children with good education, I feel he had done quite well with in his limitation.

My advice

Work hard. Keep learning. Be open for other suggestions which can help you grow in your profession. Don't argue with your colleagues and seniors. Respect elders. Love your profession and be dedicated that will always help you to take you forward.

Making job easier

Hard work. Being a good team member and good team leader. Avoid arguing with seniors, If anything that is good for the growth of organization, will put forward politely to seniors. Carry well with juniors which is most important to gain respect from them. This will help to get the required work from them without confrontation.

My important career decision

Initially I wanted to get into manufacturing industry, but some how got into teaching profession. But after that I never regretted that decision, I wanted to contribute in better way in whatever the field it is. Further I made a decision to stay in this profession and carry the good work forward.

Views about 'Tech product Introduction is weak among Indians'

I feel the problem lies in the system of education, where ample opportunity is not given to students to think and analyze the problems. Further especially the universities are pushing too many subjects to study in 3.5 months. This forces students study only for exams and get good marks. Meanwhile they loose analytical ability that is required by the industry.

My achievement

The short period i spent in Indian Institute of Science as a research assistant made me to realize where I stand in the society.
In the last 8-9 years time I have published 7 research papers in International Journals, 5 books in KANNADA language. Writing science and technology in Kannada is the one I am closely associated, which I feel educating the common man about the trends in science and technology is very much important. Our research should not lie in Library. It is not only the property of graduated people. When we communicate the advances in Science and Technology in regional medium they can also participate in building our society in more scientific manner.
I have got an award from Kannada Sahitya Parishat, 2007.
I have been given young scientist for the communication of science and technology in Kannada from Swadeshi Vijnana Andolana - Kanrnataka, 2012

Family Background

I am married, have 2 kids (5 year old and 2.5 year old kids). Now residing in Bangalore because of profession. I love my village and would like to contribute in some way to fellow villagers. My father and mother and one of my brother's family is residing at my village near Chitradurga. Others are residing in other cities owing to their professions.

Self Help Books - They can help people to develop soft skills which are essential for to one. They will not hurt the egos but teach effectively.

Company and job profile

I belong to a small village Chippinakere near Chitradurga situated at cetral part of Karnataka, INDIA. I did my primary education in KANNADA MEDIUM at my village which is very remote. My father is a retired teacher and mother a house wife. I am the 7th child in my family. Later I completed my High School and college Education at Chitradurga.My postgraduation was at Kuvempu University, Shimoga where I did M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry, then M.Tech. in Chemical Plant Design at NITK, Surathkal. Those days were challenging as initially there was a resistance to send me to these courses because of financial hardships in my family. Somehow overcoming these obstacles, I completed my courses and came to bangalore, Joined Teaching Profession in an Engineering College. Now I am heading Chemistry Department. My job is to teach engineering students, counsell them, look after the departmental activities. Also currently pursuing Ph.D. from Mysore University.

Managing professional as well as personal life

When I am in the office, I will not think about my family matters. When I am at home I will not think about office matters. Since my spouse was also into the same field for 5-6 years, she understand ups and downs in the profession well.

Being different

I have been recognized as a writer in the society. Apart from my good teaching skills and administrative capabilities I have been recognized as a good counselor among the student communities. Despite busy schedule I keep writing and conduct research activity.

Challenges faced in job

Working in private organization helps me keep myself busy and never allows to be lazy. Being committed and doing hard work continuously helps at some point in life. This is what I believe in.
