I work for the Markets Group as a Senior Program Management/Project Management Consultant for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York implements monetary policy on behalf of the Federal Reserve System, as mandated by the Federal Open Market Committee.
My role in the organization is to manage and implement projects for the Markets group.
 
Leadership qualities
Focus on the Vision, Mission and values of the organization in addition to possessing good team building and motivating skills is a key to successful leader.
Ensuring growth
I am an avid reader and always is in touch with the growing changes in the industry. I feel encountering and learning from difficult situations make you a better leader and you develop more not only as a person but also as a leader.
My advice
Always lead by the front. That not only gives your team a boost but also establishes you in your team and you gain respect from your team.
Doing things right
I try to learn all the time from the situations that I encounter. I always reflect on myself and that helps me keep check on the mistakes. No one is perfect but the idea is to not commit the same mistake again and learn from mistakes committed by others.

Influenced by
Many people have had an influence in my life my parents, my wife and my kids at different stages in life. The most I have been influenced by is my father who is a self made man and has taught me to live by some core values in life and earn respect from others. These values have taken me a long way in life.
Handling grievance
Putting myself in the employee's shoes is what helps me handle situations in a better way.
Important Career decision
Leaving Accenture when I was doing well in the organization was I guess the most important decision of my career. This decision taught me to come out of my shell and face the world

My view on India technological development
Investing in Innovation, Research and Development and infrastructure and good pay with appropriate focus on work life balance is the key to improving the technical talent and ensuring the technical brains stay behind and have a good life in India.

Family background
I come from a middle class family hailing from Jamshedpur, India. My dad used to work for Telco and my mother is a housewife. I have two younger sisters who are married and settled. I am married and have two lovely kids and live in New Jersey, USA.
