My role model

I do not have any particular role model, i believe in all those people who do not follow century old methods or rules just because everyone is following them, but rather use their own knowledge to judge each and every moment and make their own way.

Influenced by

Again there is not any particular person who has influenced me, I have though been influenced by certain events in life which made me realize the only true possession a person has and which no one can take away from him is his knowledge and character

Initiative to develop a country

I strongly believe that professionals can make a difference by using their knowledge and technical know how not only for uplifting their own living standards but doing collective work in the society. We can definitely help people become more aware and spread the information.

My family background

I am from a lower middle class, my mother was a government school teacher and my father was a Office executive in MES(military engg serivce). We lived in Srinagar (J$K) till 1989 and then shifted to Jammu.

Qualities needed to become a successful leader

Apart from the most obvious qualities like lead by example, honesty, dedication, patient listener. The most important aspect of a leader is he needs to think differently than the rest. He needs to take decisions which no one else would dare to take, without thinking about if others would like the decision or not, rather think about the long term consequences.

Couple of years from now

I would like to do something more relevant to society as a whole rather than just being a part of money earning system which earns mostly for itself.

Important lesson learned

Whenever you feel low in life or think that this is the bad time or things are not going right, just look at someone who is not as privileged as you are and suddenly you will find yourself to be in a totally different space, you would start to love the problems you have in your life.

Important decision

The most important decision i took was to move to Pune from my earlier job, without knowing what was in the offing but just believing that i could do whatever it was, as i had just completed by Computer diploma course and was so confident about what i learned. When i look back 14 years and i feel that was the right thing to do.

My achievements

Well i dont think i have done anything to boast about. I would rather like others to say anything if at all they feel I might have done in my professional carrier which is worth mentioning.

My strongest skill

My strongest attributes are never panic when ever any disaster strikes. Look at the problem step by step and do not immediately react to any situation.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

I feel our education system is more theoretical and less relevant to current jobs available in market. We need to understand that we do not need to have everyone becomes a researcher, we need to design our system to filter out people as per their inclinations and preferences rather than current lottery system. We need to have education more relevant to the lower strata of our society. We need to make efforts so that the education is not another business opportunity like it has become today.
