In year 2008 I was in Brantford Expositor newspaper, had won award for the best integration project using Talend Open Studio tool for the city.

Well it all started with Mr. Likhite was my C++ professor at VIT pune, moving ahead I met Mr. Ashish Atre Project Manager in my first job, then Mr. U. V. K. Kumar and Mr. Abid IT Heads at Doha Bank, all these did make a solid impact on my career. I did learn a lot from them, and am now applying it to achieve my goals.

I admire Dr. Abdul Kalam. I admire him for all contributions which he has made for India as a scientist and as an administrator. I admire his dedication and his vision which he has dreamed for India in his book India 2020.

Brief description about me

Canadian National of Indian Origin from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Graduated as Bachelor of Engineer in Computers from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology from Pune, Maharashtra, in May 2000.

In September 2000 started working the field of IT in Mumbai as Programmer Analyst. By year 2002 I joined Doha Bank as System Analyst, in Qatar a small peninsula on the Arabian Gulf. Cracked some very challenging projects for the Bank like Internet Banking, ERemittance and SMS Banking.

In year 2007 Fall, a big change came to my life, and I landed in Canada as an immigrant with my wife Ameera and 2 adorable kids Rida & Rahil.

With the blessing of God, with in 2 months I had got the job opportunity to work for the Municipal Govt. of City of Brantford Ontario, and since Nov 2007 I am serving the city's IT Sevices Department as Systems / Business Analyst.

I am skilled and experienced in - Software Development Life Cycle, Business and System Use Case Study, Data Modelling, Collaborate in Research.

My achievements

As a Technical Architect, implemented eGovernment portal for City of Brantford, Designed infrastructure to Manage ESRI GeoDatabase platform for the City of Brantford, Designed and implemented Real time Integration between Municipal Infrastructure Data System to Work Order System.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

I believe the educational system in India should be made more realist looking at the skills required at the workplace. I still have no clue what I learned in grade 11th and 12th science is of any use to me now and where am I applying it. First year of BE Computers had subjects related to Civil and Mechanical engineering..Why?

The courses and curriculum must be assembled so someone can pick up a program as per their interest and the job trade they are trying to target.

I admire the study system in Canada, and would love to see India adopt it.
