My Company
Pixelbrew, LLC was founded in 2001 in Baltimore, USA. With a degree in graphic design from JJ Institute of Applied Art, Bombay, and 15+ years experience as art director at two of India’s prominent ad agencies, it was only natural for me to begin again where I left off.
At Pixelbrew we plan, design and produce creative solutions for businesses that need their branding challenges addressed effectively in relation to new and ever-evolving markets and technologies.
We offer the following services:
Branding | Online Marketing | Design & Development

My Role
It all began with a home office and a drawing board. Most design work was done the old way using paper, pencil and ink. It was a time-consuming process. Clients were aware of the limitations and revisions/corrections were rare and very minimal. With the introduction of PC everything changed. DTP proliferated and many clients started in-house art departments. Competition for work intensified as graphic designers and wannabes with training in new technology and platforms emerged.
It was time for more learning. A diploma in digital art and 3D animation followed. Few years down the road there was a need for more learning and a BS in corporate communication helped immensely.
I still work from a home-office with a small staff and a team of independent contractors. My area of work involves digital strategy, interactive design, web development and online marketing.
Insights about our culture
We encourage associates who think beyond boundaries; that’s where the great ideas come from. We get together and discuss how their various talents could be combined to further a brand’s value. We celebrate the accomplishments of our associates. Personal problems and issues are never divulged but discussed privately with the individual/s concerned.
Faced Challenges
In advertising money is where the idea is. It’s not always easy to work with clients who have their own set of ideas and convictions about their products or services. That is the greatest challenge for us to overcome.
Advice for fellow entrepreneurs
• Believe in you and in your business. Without it you cannot be in business.
• Offer great service. “Customer is always right” still rings true.
• Your attitude counts. You will be judged by what you do and what you say.
• Don’t try to sell something that you won’t use yourself.
My key thoughts
Never underestimate the power of your customer. Successful companies begin with customers who are happy with their product/service experience.
