Areas for the Future
While working in QA more emphasis can be given to Jira, QTP and also Selenium.
Let me tell you a fact, Why I was selected for this particular discussion was a surprise. My domain has never been QA/testing. However, being in L&D team we have seen many changes happening within the QA team and so can
The Journey So Far
Well, I worked for infosys BPO for two years in the Business Banking sector for an American Client. Post that completed my full time MBA and joined Ness Software Engineering Services in Bangalore as a Consultant and now working as an Executive - L&D in the same company.
So far, so good!
Plans for the Future
A very typical question!
If I think of the next 5 Years, I would like to build a team which helps the Schools and Colleges in India to build the competency required for their life; both personal and professional. This will surely increase the number of employable graduates overall.
Essential Advice
We have a preset mind: QA is for people with less competency and development is for the creative and brilliant minds! A strong "NO" from my side. Testers are creative and brilliant enough to find all the mistakes or even blunders done by the developers. Testers will always be one step ahead!
Current and Previous Responsibilities
It's totally different. Previously I was in the BCM-Banking & Capital Market vertical. Now completely under HR, the training function.
Most Important Lessons
Tracking and documenting whatever you do was the best lesson.
Role Model
My dad. Very simple to tell why but very difficult for many to inculcate in the life. That's nothing but the 'Can Do' attitude which has resulted in 'Completed'status.
Currently working at
Currently it's a blended profile. It starts with the very basic work organizing of training sessions to tracking the entire Ness India training, Implementing LMS, Process related work, automation, branding etc.
