More about myself

Nothing to add specifically. But,like to emphasize that guys need to focus on skill development continuously. As in other developed countries, their skills are continuously pruned & skill-sets identified to improve upon by the employer.

My strongest skill

Possess good analytic mind. Easy to understand the problem quickly. Also, I feel I have adequate knowledge in the domain where I discharge my duties.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

Academics need to be complemented with Workshop studies.That is to say, field studies are to be improved upon & to be included in all curriculum irrespective of the fact whether it is a professional / Academic. As like Lawyer, Medics, CA, Engineers , all academic curriculum need to have co-lateral studies in the field (workshop/internship).

I am a self made man. Generally, all leaders inspired me. Be it Indian / other national leaders.

My role model

I do not have any role model. But, the philosophy of National Safety Council & ASSE impressed me much.

Important decision

Many a changes during my career in pursuit of skills. Even though, I had all the resources & placed in the comfort zone always.

My achievements

I am proud of being a owner of a Modern Multi-purpose Hall at Thanjavur, very close to New collectors Office. Can be used for hosting Conferences, Marriages & other ceremony. Run a hostel for Engineering students who pursue studies at SASTRA or PRIEST university here.

Presently, reviewing procedures, plans, ITBs, for various contracts (LR2 Qatar, SAMAC MMA-PMMA, KSA & KNPC CFP projects, Kuwait) in the pre bidding & post bidding stage. Also, presenting HSE issues presentations as and when required.Presently, taking care as Integrating HSE Manager for Mega projects IR-II, Sabic,for the U&O, AROMATICS & PTA projects handled by CTCI Corporation , Taipei, Taiwan.
Worked over 15 years in HSE Management at various level during the phase of Construction, Maintenance & Operation, in the Field of Oil & Gas Industry. Worked as Compliance co-ordinator (Pipeline Safety Regulation, DOT, 49 CFR 190-195), for CNT Network of pipeline, KOC, Kuwait.
