Most Rewarding Moment
I have a full time teaching experience of more than 3 Years in reputed Engineering colleges of Jharkhand. I enjoy teaching the most needy and poor student and I feel glad and privileged when such students top their classes. Moreover, I always try to make my Lecture-sessions interactive, motivational and inspirational. I am having experience of realizing such my effort.
As a most rewarding Experience, I would like to share that once I was teaching Microprocessor in 5th semester of ECE branch. All the 21 students of the class were poor other than 2 students who were really intelligent. I was trying to deliver my best. After the semester exam, 18 out of 21 students secured more than 75% marks and ofcourse they all excelled in the college in Microprocessor. This was the most precious and rewarding experience in my entire teaching career.
Way to motivate Students
Well I believe that as a teacher of Engineering College, one should be readily updated with latest knowledge. A teacher should also be strongly sound in technical know-how of the subject he delivers.Practically I always study for more than 2 hours from various books and internet for delivering a lecture of 50 minutes. Also I work in my pronunciation, vocabulary and inspirational quotations which I frequently use in the lecture session. Moreover a little discussion related to future scope of interests of individual student concerned makes my lecture interesting and abiding.
Most Challenges facing by students
I think the student are more concerned to the job opportunity and placements. But there are very few students who bother to be regular in updating their knowledge and enhancing their skills. But none has become excellent without upholding excellence. And one who does becomes successful for sure.
My inspiring personality
Yes. I am highly inspired by the honorable Chief Minister of Gujrat, Shri Narendra Modiji and ofcourse I take him as my role model. There are unlimited number of reasons to justify. He is not only a great politician but also a true leader. He is having no family and hence I have seen him doing only for him fellow countrymen. His vision and straightforwardness has always inspired me. The fact about his attraction is that whatever he speaks becomes the news of the day.
Important Lesson
Yes. There is a big difference between teachers and Life. A teacher teaches first and then takes a test. But life takes a test first and then Teaches a lesson.
I have learnt from life that Possessiveness, passion and belief are the most important things for whatever you love. And of-course when you donot have what you love, then Love what you have.
Strongest Subject
Education is my strongest Subject because I believe that its education only through which you can see the things closely. And i think their lies the real happiness. Also education leads to the path of enlightenment
Family Background
Yes. I belong to a village. We are two brothers and two sisters. They all are married other than me. My only brother is handicapped as he lost his voice in an accident during his childhood. Presently my father is also unemployed due to his old age.And my mother is a house wife.My father was working as an Union Leader in a small coalfield area. He however managed and afford to educate me in Engineering field. I have made enough struggle to complete my B.Sc Engineering and M.Tech by making home-tutions. But it was the blessings of my parents that today I am working as an Asst. Professor in Engineering College.I am indebted to my parents for whatever i am today.
Outlook about increase students’ participation
The country is passing thruogh the most critical situation these days. And the role of the young students may prove to be deciding in changing the scenario. I think the student should strengthen themselves in service learning with their academics. Many of the non-academic benefits of service learning are the same found in volunteering and community service.Volunteerism can create social capital- that is, social networks of trust and cooperation, that can then promote greater political involvement in public affairs.Through participation in voluntary associations, individuals will develop a keener appreciation for civic affairs and understand more completely their obligations to participate in the political process. When students are given the opportunities and responsibilities of decision making in a task that is interesting and important to them, they tend to think more deeply about concerned issues that must aid in the development of the nation
Future of Indian Education System
There has been a tremendous change in the field of education these days. Specially in the Engineering sector, the quality of education is decreasing day by day. To cite references, I must quote here that the semester scheme, the marking scheme in evaluation of answer sheets with grade point system and opening of new private engineering colleges in bulk may have made engineering education easy to approach and pass but simultaneously, it has deteriorated quality with alarming increase in unemployability. Moreover, the education has somewhat lost the essence in terms of ethics, morals and values.
My Advice
Teaching is the most pious, most challenging and best profession in the world. Here, you need not to do much with the machines rather you have to deal with the brilliant human brains. And for this, one should work on the latest updates and skills. Research oriented teaching is always admired at the highest level. So my advice would be to inculcate the toughness towards knowledge before being a teacher.
Favorite Non-Academic books
Bhagvat Geeta. It is the best non academic book i always read. It has all the answers of life.
