Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

Myself a Diploma holder in compouter and holds a masters in accounts. Father and mother side are into medicine and industry and in-laws side into engineering and education.

I have about 25yrs exp in Industrial side with abou10years in formulations and about the same time in marketing and management

Working Life Management:

If there is no work in life its not life and if there is no life in work its not work. As a male gender I have to give equal importance for both, nothing is less than the other.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

I never gets attached to one work or concept, I keep on putting things postivily and march ahead. If I fail I correct it and move, if its successful I will give a facelift or go for the next version, so practically there is no stop for work and no "Give Up"

Growth Strategy:

Success and failures are two sides of the same coin and they are equidistant from both. See like in such way that you still manage both at the same time. If you want to get something you have to loose something - that way a balance is achieved or else it is at the risk of "gone for ever".

Role Model:

Practically one can learn from someones life but cant imitate or resemble. To say I am a role model for myself. I only took the lessons in my own life, nurtured with some positive angles, faced hardships, streamlined everything, did my part of duty and here I am.

Required Reading:

The best book I can recommend is Bhagawadgita. It makes you understand the difference between success and failure, attachment and detachment, right and duty and the real life for life.

Career Profile:

Previous role is an education part this current role is the practical part. What we learnt is being put here for acid test.

The Decisions That Matter

Never underestimate the talent of your downline. A good manager is the one who can channelize the potentiality of this subordinates and achieve a target in an expensive way.

The Journey So Far:

It was not smooth but tough and had to face oppression from many angles seen and unseen. Though I had a vision about this step in my teenage I have been profusely fighting for the position for over two decades and finally acheived.

Job Profile:

Its a sort of All in one. I am the one who draw concepts, put them into life, draw battlelines, make a head start, manage the competetion, balance the production with consumtion keeping options for future growth along with involving new segments at the same time.

Changes In The Professional Environment:

There were days when there was a value for WORD and COMMITMENT. Now its not there. Everyone is looking for the fast money without even thinking about the future of themselves and their family if anything happens. Previously the word 'ours' is used then it became 'our' then 'mine' and now its 'me'.

Other Thoughts:

In business make money but dont leave the ethics and values. They are like fixed deposits that would save you in your future. Along with money you should also earn people.

Done Differently:

No not at all, since facing the problem with various angles with an adaptive strategy now, it makes no difference if I start now or after some time.

Plans For The Future:

Surely on the top of the segment but with more roots.
