About Jyotirmoy Roy

Jyotirmoy Roy has several years experience in Renewable Energy sectors involving in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system design, Performance monitoring & prediction of PV modules in real operating conditions under variable climate, data analysis, feasibility study, project management and designing and development of different products of solar system. Currently he is a Researcher in Applied Photovoltaic Group at Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST), Loughborough University, UK (www.crestuk.org). He is a working member of EU FP6 projects “Performance”, validating a proposed testing standard (IEC 61853) for PV modules based on Energy Rating procedures. He is also working as University Teacher at CREST, Loughborough University and Data Monitoring Officer for data analysis and monitoring the large scale industrial PV systems located in Europe and USA. He has worked before as an Academic Visitor at CREST and developed an experimental controlling system based on LabVIEW for performance monitoring of different modules in real operating conditions. He has been selected for CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Intern award at Central Fuel Research Institute, Dhanbad, India. He has professional memberships with various organizations such as Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Member of UK-ISES, Member of UKERC-NERN and Board member of ESES Alumni Association (www.eses.org), SERC, Dalarna University, Sweden. He has Achieved European Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) research grant for Doctoral research study in Loughborough University, UK. Mr Roy has ten publications including invited talks in various conferences and organizations in Europe and Asia.

India and European are the other activities. Providing
educational consulting services to get admission and scholarships
in the European universities.
