Brief description about me

I am a graduate in civil engineering passed in 1964.

Fellow of Institution of Engineers India -Chartered Engineer

Fellow of Indian Association of Structural Engineers

Member of Indian management Association

I am having an over all experience of 48 years

I am practicing as a consultant engineer from 1981 under the firm title FEBY

CONSULTANTS undertaking arch. design,structural design, valuation of immovable properties,construction management etc.we have in house architect,engineer and auto

cad d'man.

Challenges in job

it is a real satisfaction in undertaking each new project and solve any difficult problems encounter. I would like to educate the young engineers what I had learnt.

My point of view

our engineers,architects are more talented. But we do not have such infrastructure to develop. For example when compared to UAE and US etc how many tall buildings we have?In Kerala only one structure is of 40 storey.Can we not have a tall structure of 100 storey at least.Similarly we do not have long span fly overs and bridges.

My goal

Since I am 71 years old my wish is that If god permits to work as a professional as long as possible.

Family background

I am married with 3 children.One daughter and two boys.All are married and settled.sons are Architect and one daughter in law is also architect. I am having 7 grand children.

Advice to professionals

He/she should work with a good firm and gain experience before starting his/her establishment.

Advice to students

during college studies the students should take adequate care in learning the subjects.It is a foundation for their future. If the students take the studies with care they can prosper in life.
