project. Before leaving the company I became the head of the IT
department and modernized the company systems, bringing in new
technology, new software and a totally new communications and
agent interaction and tracking system. I used CRM type services
to streamline customer relations as well as agent communications
and inter-office collaboration.

IT/ Networking-Mgr at National Communications Corporation , Dallas, US
March 1982 – January 1986
Industry: IT-Software/Software Services
Functional area: IT Software- Network Administration / Security
I started in distribution but shortly after I began to handle
customer queries and complaints. When the owner decided to
purchase a computer system for the office it turned out I was the
only one with any knowledge or experience on PCs. Thus I became
the IT guy without the title at first. The company was in
bankruptcy court when I started in late 1985 it was still in
bankruptcy court and looked at being there for a good while
unless it was liquidated. This prompted me to finally make the
decision to leave and find another position.
