Family Background

My Birth Place is Jammu and my grandfather, Father was from Kashmir (a paradise on earth). My Father is a Veteniary Doctor and served state for 9 yrs and then moved to State Bank of India and served there for approx 25 yrs. He is now retired and staying in Jammu. My Mother is Housewife. Sister is Asstt Professor in a paramedical college and Wife a Sr. Hr Executive.

The Decisions That Matter

I joined my present Company Pratham Software, Inc in Year 2005 and helped them to startup a Testing Services Unit working as Independent Validation & Verification Body. I really liked to the way I was able to help company setup and groom people in Quality Engineering division.

The Journey So Far:

Its about 9 years now for me in IT Industry with the Domain Software Quality.
In this tenure served 2 companies and worked with more than 100 plus Clients across America, Europe, Australia & India. Started a Software Testing divison with in present company with complete Services Solutions, Frameworks, Automation processes etc.

Plans For The Future:

VP Quality engineering in next 5 years and a Successful entrepreneur in next 10 yrs

Done Differently:

I would like to change my education stream from Software Application to System Hardware.

Changes In The Professional Environment:

Earlier it was unstructured; at process level, framework level, Technology tools etc
but now lot of advancement. Even I have seen sharp innovative minds coming into picture.

Growth Strategy:

Looking into Corporate management areas like Business Models, Service Delivery Models,Competency Mapping, Technical training initiatives, New Technology Chapter setup etc

Working Life Management:

My wife and my parents are very cooperative and sensitive towards my efforts in achieving my goal. I generally spent 12 hours on my work, 2 hours on self learning.
So, I ensure to give 3 hours atleast to my family in remaining 10 hours of my daily schedule.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

I was awarded with 4-5 awards in last 5 yrs of my career. The best accomplishment I saw is when some 3 + yrs back I was given the complete charge of Testing Services wing by my company with a team of 18 engineers. So, I was the youngest Group Head in my company.
