I am married to Madhusmita who is a MCA graduate and worked as Recruitment Consultant.
I have a daughter Adwesha.

Doing the same things over and over again... mentally I think you have to be really strong to get through it and make sure that you're paying attention

1) Domain Knowledge – Good knowledge in domain area of the application adds value to the testing professionals.

Essential Advice

I'd prefer the following statement: learn the skills required to design tests before starting to get involved with the tools that are sometimes used to perform certain testing tasks.
First learn to test, then learn to automate.

1. Switching costs for software solutions will continue to decline.
2. Compliance standards for safety-critical and life-critical software will become imperative.

The Journey So Far

I graduated from Utkal University with a B.SC. in Math Hons. While on active I earned an MCA degree. After completing my MCA i got placed to work as A Test Engineer in Mascon Global Limited, Chennai and currently i am working as a Team Lead in Software Testing & Quality Assurance (QA). For the last 8 years I am into the IT industry.

I am a Software Testing Professional with above 8 years of experience and worked in different companies,domains and technology areas.

Current and Previous Responsibilities

Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).

Bill Gates of Microsoft.He built Microsoft from the scratch although he is from a middle class family with least external support and today he is acknowledge as a philanthropist, investor, computer programmer and inventor
