About Bhaskar Mazumdar
An engineer by qualification - from BENCO, Banaras Hindu University. Worked in Bombay-now Mumbai- Bangalore, Calcutta - now Kolkatta- and Delhi. Spent some time in Cambridge, UK. Retired in December 2002. Held senior management positions, including Board appointments and have experience in handling large organisation.
Married with a son and a daughter. I am staying with my wife, she has also retired from a college affiliated to Jadavpur University, Calcutta. My son is an engineer, MBA working as an executive in an MNC. My daughter is a scientist, having obtained PhD from IIT and has experience in USA, Canada - now in Sweden.
I can claim to be a good manager and a successful negotiater in commercial dealings. An effective team leader and good organiser.
