Degrees that Matter

Working on with the new projects, made me understand that Quality is the core of any product, whatever you build or produce, quality should be there, its a a must situation. Its now like a man wearing his clothes defines his character and quality. Yes the six sigma certification will help me.

The Journey So Far

I started my carrier as a very low profile job and from a BA background. Life had thrown differenet challenges at various times and i had accepted it fully and i am heading technology for Dainik Bhaskar internet divisions. It has been a tough,rough and challenging journey,which i am still travelling

Role Model

My role model has been my boss Mr Gyan Gupta(Business Head), his vision, passion and the way of getting the things done, has just made me think the same way. I have followed his footsteps from last 3 years and have seen a rapid growth in my own organisation and in career.

Plans for the Future

I would want to invent new technology of vernacular search, which others have failed to, since i have a lot of exposure from the south indian languages and also hindi and gujarati and marathi.

Most Important Lessons

To be honest and committed to what you are committing, be whatever the other external disturbing forces are. Finally all it matters is the deliverable.

Current and Previous Responsibilities

My responsibility starting from the content editor's desk to the end user getting his site to be faster, quicker and user friendly. All the technologies that makes the content publishing and end user delivery and a rich experience on the site.

Areas for the Future

The QA has to think like an end user, his user friendly experience, the way the page is optimised, the site load time and many more.

Points of inflection

The way i started looking at things differently, be it product, be it design, be it technology, which has brought a huge mental change.

A Fine Balance:

Its really hard for everybody in this competetive world, since the company expects you to deliver all the time, the best efforts. The family life today literally is only call it a SUNDAY. Yes we have gone high in our lifestyles because of the work and the kind of sal, which inturn helps our family.

Essential Advice

What i have witnessed is, the final decision of taking a product to the market is also defined by the QA, end of the day, all it matters is how good is your product, which is really being defined by the product and controlled by the QA and developed by the developers.

Head Technology at Dainik Bhaskar's IMCL division, IMCL is a digital arm of dainik bhaskar group. I am working with this team from last 6 years.
