Views about 'Tech product Introduction is weak among Indians'
This has been pondering in ma mind for so long, I want to bring to your attention as what china did when they opened their tech market for foreigners, they allowed it only tru local partnership. Eg Alcatel bell labs and Ericsson joined hands with local vendors before starting their operations in CHINA, and as a result today we have giants like HUAWEI and ZTE who are competing against same Alcatel and Ericsson who once helped them. See the thing is we need to have political leaders who has the vision which is bit hard though. However NASSCOM can come forward and encourage such partnerships (we don lack investment, talent and neither human resource, all we need is support and direction from policy makers)

Current Trends
Irrespective of age, people today are crazy about gadgets (IPADs, Mobiles, Laptops) and they all wanna stay connected. For eg if you go to an interview or a mall, you expect your device to connect to available network seamlessly and stay connected and this brings the concept of BYOD (Bring your own device) and people wanna access their info irrespective their location and solution to that is Cloud. (Wireless-BYOD CLOUD is the game changer and the catalyst behind this reaction is Mobile device)

My advice
Don't be choosy about your job location but be very clear on your Job profile. I know lot of my friends who have made wrong career choices. Listen to your heart, analyse the trend/technology, take up the task and you will be successful.
Challenges faced in job
Every release we keep adding lot of test cases to the repository. So whenever there is a new release we should cover old cases and new cases. So working on old cases is cumbersome however we can't avoid it. So we need to automate it and should do the same in the time frame while testing the new release. But once its done, it gonna significantly reduce the time taken for qualifying a release and thatz really gonna help big time so that we can focus on other things.
Books recommended
In any case, i would recommend people to start from basics. You have lot of options today (Online tutor, blogs, website and youtube), so whatever you need everything is there digital.
