I see myself as Head of HR in a Small Organisation or a Start Up in the next 1-2 years & Head of HR of a Medium/Big Organisation in 3-5 years time & on the Board in a Small Company in 7-8 years time or Heading a Company of my own
New trends in domain
Connectivity across Geographies via Internet, E-Banking, etc. which are going to reduce distances even further while making almost all transactions ON LINE without physical movement from place A to B

Family Background
I come from a simple middle income group family where in my father was a Civil Diploma Holder who worked with UP Jal Nigam. Our ancestors belonged to the Farmers family (Zamindars). We are 4 brothers & 1 sister & my mother is a home maker. I personally did my schooling from 7th onward in the Rashtriya Indian Military College then went on the Graduate from the National Defence Academy, Pune before getting commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy.

Held various Leadership roles in the Indian Navy, with an impressive reputation of building cohesion among cross cultural/disparate groups and individuals. Significant expertise in managing a wide spectrum of management functions.

After having spent 20 years of glorious and fulfilling career in the India Navy, decided to explore challenges in the world outside & joined the top Private Sector Bank of the country, ICICI Bank in September 2006 wherein handled various assignments before moving to ING in September 2011.

Responsible for end to end HR activities of over 3000 employees in more than 180 Branches & Offices spread across in all the states except the 4 Southern States
Journey in corporate world
After having spent 20 years of glorious and fulfilling career in the India Navy, I decided to explore the challenges in the world outside the Armed Forces and accordingly moved to the Corporate World. Here again I could join the top Private Sector Bank of the country, ICICI Bank in September 2006. Since then, I have been handling large teams & have handled challenging assignments ranging from a role in Human Resources to Business Development to Training, including National Level roles & projects during the past 8 challenging years. In September 2011, I decided to move on to bigger roles & challenges & joined world renowned International Bank/Financial Institution, ING in their Indian bank ING Vysya Bank & am presently heading the HR for North, East & Western India for the bank responsible for HR activities of over 3000 employees based out of over 180 branches & Offices.

My past experience would reveal the diversity of roles that I have handled in Indian Navy & world Outside.
