My role model
I will like to talk about fictional character, which was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle around 1887. The reason is the way he solves cases using logical reasoning and forensic science. In real life there are many people and great personalities as I believe one should try to imbibe good qualities from everyone around
Important decision
The most important till now was to pursue Forensics instead of engineering. Then another one was to start my own company after completing the Masters in Forensic Science and create employment for other Forensic Aspirants and serve to the needy people through my skills
Qualities needed to become a successful leader
I don’t think there is a set formula to become a leader. One must hone people and professional skills and should have a level head to make people have faith in you.
Important lesson learned
Patience and determination are the two most important lessons I have learnt. One should follow his/her heart. I briefly took admission in Engineering after finishing school but soon realised that my calling is somewhere else. This only proved that I did a course
My achievements
All the cases that I was part of are my achievements. Whenever the reports made by me are presented in courts in various parts of the country, it gives me a sense of achievement. Another one is the recent happening when I was chosen as area coordinator of International Conference organised by Worldwide Association of Women Forensic Experts (WAWFE), when i get International recognition in field of forensic science.
Initiative to develop a country
Professionals also need help from the government to make their efforts bear fruit. Country can become developed only through a collective effort. Professional can only do their work honestly and make it get recognised on international levels, which help in making country proud.
Influenced by
Everyone has a different place in my life and so the way they have influenced me also has equal importance.
Brief description about me
I was born in Agra and brought up in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. From my childhood I was a little inquisitive towards mysteries. I was easily attracted to games that required me to play a role of investigator. After my initial education in Aligarh Muslim University, I completed Masters in Forensic Sciences
Thoughts on Education system of our country
Right the focus does not seems to give quality education that gives professional edge to the students. Another problem is the false promises that are made by various institutes regarding job placements. Government should reign in such institutes and do regular check ups on these claim making institutes.
Couple of years from now
As an entrepreneur aspiring to move ahead and setting up new goals.
My family background
My father was a policeman in Uttar Pradesh. I have three siblings with two elders and one younger brother. My youngest brother is pursuing Masters in Business Administration and elder brothers are settled professionally.
Degree that I recommend
Especialised Forensic Science courses are a must. One can also get into the field after doing M.Sc or PhD in Chemistry.
My strongest skill
I think I have an inquisitive mind that looks for solutions through logical reasoning.
Ensuring success
I keep myself updated about the latest happening in Forensics and investigative techniques.
